1) I am helping organize a screening of The Weight of the Nation on campus in October. The city of Ferguson is heading the initiative. All seriousness aside, I just wanted to run into a Ron Swanson or Leslie Knope type character at city hall. No such luck. I am, however, excited to meet new people and witness the good that will come out of this event!
2) Yes, I am 30 years of age and have already finished my christmas list for this year. What?
3) Matt and I switched our night for Date Night this week because we found something we just had to go to on Wednesday night. Backyard Chicken demonstration at a community garden. Yes, please. The chickens were adorable, the information was well organized and wonderful, and Matt was dreaming the whole way home. Chances are, when we grow up and buy a house, there will be chickens in our backyard. You have been warned. 
Your dad will b jealous if u have chickens in ur backyard and he doesn't:)
